In 1988 two Philadelphia area cash-conscious college wrestlers decided their money would stretch farther if they brewed their own beer rather than go down to the local tavern and pay for high-priced drinks. Turns out they were pretty good at brewing and in 1994 founded Yards Brewing Company.

It’s done nothing but get bigger and better since – four progressively larger locations, a loyal following of beer drinkers, and a line of ales that shows off the true craftsmanship and passion Yards pours into every barrel of brew.
