Phillies 2008 World Championship Parade Breaking News!

At 12:00 Noon, on Halloween Friday, October 31^st, 2008 – The Philadelphia Phillies World Championship Parade will be held!

It will begin at 20^th & Market Streets, proceeding to Philadelphia’s City Hall, and finish up at Citizen’s Bank Park. Also, Lincoln Financial Field will be open as well, thanks to the generosity of the Philadelphia Eagles and will show what is going on at Citizen’s Bank Park on the jumbotron. Both events at the parks are to be ticketed “free of change.” 

Phillies.Com is providing an INTERNET ONLY “sale of free of charge” tickets to all fans for BOTH venues at 3:00 PM TODAY!!!  Tickets to Citizen’s Bank Park will be very limited and a better opportunity for tickets to Lincoln Financial Field will exist.

This Week in Philly strongly recommends that you take public transportation to and from the festivities and hope that you will all celebrate smartly and safely! Please heed this recommendation.   The numbers of people migrating to the City of Philadelphia tomorrow will be as substantial as at any time in our history.

The Philadelphia Sixers have moved their game-time to 6:00PM.  Please make a note of it.
