This hip storefront eatery is the result of a fab food couple who decided to ditch their big gigs and strike out on their own. Successful? So far, yes! The proof is in the caramelized scallop carpaccio, among other outstanding dishes.

Come for the stylish scene set by glam chandeliers and chocolate velvet drapes. Stay for the impressive adherence to humanely raised meats, organic emphasis and use of local and seasonal produce. Maybe James is still a small fish in a big pond but it’s a very tasty fish.
