// Barclay Prime

Barclay Prime is the best place to go in Philadelphia if you want to drop $100 on a Kobe cheese steak and possibly, just possibly, feel like it was worth it. This Stephen Starr restaurant doesn’t try to hide the fact it’s all about posh. From the ritzy Rittenhouse Square address to the Manhattan-esque mix of clientele, it’s all about the Benjamins, baby.

Of course, the food ain’t half bad either. On the a la carte menu you’ll find oysters Rockefeller, 12 ounce filets, porterhouses, wedge salads, creamed spinach and butter-poached lobster, as well as the already mentioned Kobe cheese steak. If your best friend is Kobe Bryant, ask him to take you out for lunch here.
