// The Mann Center for the Performing Arts

The Mann Center for Performing Arts 32 years ago The Mann Center for the Performing Arts came to the park and they haven’t left yet. Originally founded as the summer home of the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Mann Center remains the only outdoor cultural events venue in the Philadelphia region and is one of the largest of its kind in the universe, err, make that nation. Sorry. Got carried away there for a moment.

This unique, open air theater continues to host some of the world’s best known artists and performances and, of course, they still let the Orchestra rock the stage from time to time. The Mann Center presents world-class entertainment at affordable prices in a beautiful park setting. As a non-profit organization, they operate with the help of ticket sales, grants, donations from patrons, and corporate support.
