They’re calling it Mug Shots II because, presumably, Mug Shots I must have been a smashing success. Regardless, get ready for this go ‘round at Triumph Brewery in Philadelphia on Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at 6:30 PM. In case you’ve been cryogenically frozen, like Ted Williams head, for a while and haven’t heard of Triumph, check out their website here.
The Clay Studio and Triumph Brewery are at it again with Mug Shots II, a beer-tasting bonanza! How I love the combination of words in that phrase. Ponder it for just a moment…beer…tasting…bonanza. How could you NOT go? Sample a selection of Triumph’s awe inspiring homemade brews and receive a commemorative handcrafted ceramic mug made exclusively for the event.
What’s the big deal with The Clay Studio? As Philadelphia’s only non-profit organization solely dedicated to the education and promotion of the ceramic arts, AND one of the world’s leading institutions in the field, The Clay Studio offers a unique venue for enthusiasts. Since 1974, The Clay Studio has supported the ceramic arts through artists residencies, galleries, studio space, school, as well as educational and outreach programs. Not only is The Clay Studio a community-centered institution involved with the life of the city and region, but it has grown to become a national and even international focal point for the ceramic arts. Maybe you’re interested but not experienced? Don’t worry. Programs are geared to all levels of proficiency.
The Clay Studio is located at 139 North Second Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106. Triumph Brewery is located at 117 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA.
I now command thee to go forth, drink beer and obtain the ceramic mug.
