Your lemur is not welcome here: Kennett Square Brewfest

It’s a Philadelphia area tradition.

You must be over 21 years old. You can’t bring your babies. You can’t bring your pets. And you better not EVEN try to slip in with an underage baby pet. They hate to be party Nazis about it but it’s the 11th Annual Kennett Square Brewfest in Kennett Square on Saturday, October 4, 2008, from 2 PM to 6 PM and, gosh darn it, some things you just have to leave at home.

Now that the nasty business is out of the way, let’s talk beer. Sample from over 40 regional microbreweries like Dockstreet, Yards, Samuel Adams – heck, this could go on for way too long. Click here to see the full list of participants. Now get your beer pants ready and buy tickets early because it’s going to be a sellout. It doesn’t even matter if it rains. They’re going to be under a tent.

And what’s a great beer tasting without live music? Boring! That’s what. And that’s why Carl Filipiak and the Jimmy Jazz band, AND Sin City Band will be on hand to kick out the jams.

BTW, this is a fundraising event for a charitable cause. All proceeds benefit Historic Kennett Square, which jumped through all the governmental hoops and became a real live official 501-C3 non-profit organization dedicated to making Kennett Square a social, cultural, and economic center.

The Kennett Square Brewfest will be held in Historic Kennett Square, located in Kennett Square, PA. Be there or go somewhere else!
