Death and Da Vinci: Murder At The Art Museum

Think your sleuthing skills are up to par? Find out at the Murder at the Art Museum Scavenger Hunt on Saturday, February 7, 2009, at 2 PM. This is an adults only hunt. Hey, it’s dealing with murder. No need to traumatize the little gremlins yet. There’s plenty of time for that when they get older.

Here’s the scoop. A murdered curator has left behind a cryptic trail of clues, as all good murder victims do, which are connected with secrets in works of art throughout the Philadelphia Museum of Art. A word to the wise. Don’t tear apart the art pieces looking for clues!

As your team gathers evidence, a sordid tale of greed, lust, pride, revenge and treachery come to light, all revolving around a planned multi-million dollar purchase of a Leonardo Da Vinci. The curator knew too much and one of four suspects were driven to commit murder. Who, what, where, when, why? To find out you’ll have to crack the secret code left in an appointment calendar.

Advance purchase required. You’ll be meeting in the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s lobby at the west entrance facing Fairmount Park. Look for the crew from Watson Adventures near the benches wearing burgundy caps.
