Description:
For Ages 6-12.

Discover the wonders of the forest through an exploration of trees and other forest plants and animals. On this guided hike, you\’ll learn about forest structure and how to identify common trees and forest plants. Gain an understanding of the threats to the forests at Valley Forge and the importance of forests for a healthy environment.

Scouts - programs can help you meet badge requirements.

Program size is limited, and pre-registration is required. Please pre-register at least 3 days prior to program date.

Description: First Saturday of each Month, Oct 2008 - Apr 2009, 11am - 12noon

Children aged 6 to 12 years old are invited to \’\'enlist\’\’ in the Continental Army. A Park Ranger in a replica Continental soldier uniform, musters in the recruits who will learn how to stand, march and drill like a soldier. Free and open to the public.
