Description: Amazing Machine! features everyday machines displayed in \”exploded\” views. Their parts, separated and visible, allow a bird\’s eye view of the interior of such workhorses as the household vacuum cleaner, power drill, thermostat, and more. Guests are invited to experience the universal machine elements - gears, cams, pulleys, screws, springs, and other items - in a series of interactive stations. The exhibit also features multi-media commentary on machines and the relationships between man and machine portrayed in classic cinema such as Modern Times and Metropolis.
