Who you gonna call when a 9 foot tall, 3 eyed giant opens a can of whup ass on your village? Not Ghostbusters! They wouldn’t stand a chance. What will the previously happy people of Back-of-Beyond do? Find out at the Stages of Imagination fall production of Dragon Singer November 6-7, 2008, at Neumann College in Aston, PA.
Don’t worry. It’s close to Philadelphia.
Stages of Imagination, a non-profit organization, has been producing children’s theater since 1990, exposing over 350,000 Pre-K through 5th grade children to their nine original character education themed musical plays on a rotating basis. Your child will learn themes like cooperation, integrity, organization, courage, communication and negotiation, utilizing hidden talents, initiative, awareness, and care of the environment. Those are good things, right? Everybody nod your head. Sure they are.
A 10 minute Q and A session follows Dragon Singer. While the younger kids enjoy the music, moves, color, and comic action, the older ones are eager to talk about characters, situations, and life skills they just learned.
In Dragon Singer, the good townspeople try various plans to defeat the giant but then a humble huckster comes along and gets the villagers to work together to save the town. Music and song ensue throughout. If you have a strange disorder that compels you to want to read more about 9 foot tall giants click here.
