It’s limbo time: Dancing With The Stars

Get ready to re-hash seasons 6 and 7 of Dancing With The Stars on Sunday, February 8, 2009, at 7:30 PM at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia. If you’re a fan of ABC’s #1 rated reality competition program, hold onto your ears ‘cause it really is coming.

Get all giddy at the prospect of seeing your fave has-beens and D list celebs like Lance Bass, Toni Braxton, Maurice Greene, and Marlee Matlin take the stage with their not-quite-patented moves and over-the-top drama that you remember so well. Grab a seat in the intimate, cabaret-style VIP table seating on the floor if you like. It puts you right smack dab in the center of the action. The rest of the peasants will also be able to enjoy the larger-than-life recreation of the TV show’s actual stage and set design, complete with hideous teleprompter flubs and the odd passed out contestant. Well, maybe not that part.

Seriously, it’s going to be great fun for everyone.

Some of the professional dancers on hand are Mark Ballas, Derek Hough, Kym Johnson, Lacey Schwimmer, Fabian Sanchez and more. Oh no, who’s that with their hand up in the back row? You’ve never heard of Dancing With The Stars?

Crikey.

This is the reality show where out of chronically under-employed actors, musicians, and athletes try to grab a small but fleeting slice of the limelight again by pairing with a professional dancer and competing against other equally below-the-radar talent for the chance to finally be the best at something.

The Wachovia Center is located at 3601 South Broad Street. You can learn more about this event by clicking here.
