Advertising Sales Executive - Full or Part Time, Telecommuting
As a member of the ThisWeekInPhilly.com sales team, this position is responsible for cold calling to increase advertising sales within a given territory. The major elements of the job include providing ongoing account consultation and customer service via phone monthly to 100% of customer base. The Account Manager should be able to work along side the Sales Managers to assist in market growth. Your first commitment is ensuring that your accounts receive excellent service and ultimately continue as a ThisWeekInPhilly.com advertiser.
Duties
* Cold call on local business and introduce them to our advertising options
* Provide new accounts with consultation and direction for developing online ad package
* Reinforce the value of products and services
* Consult new and current customers on how to be successful with online advertising
* Create and review reports with Sales Manager
* Keep current on industry and competitive trends
* Resolve customer disputes and complaints
* Up-sell other products
Required Experience
* Minimum of 1 year sales experience, preferably selling online advertising
* Detail-oriented approach and excellent organizational skills
* Strong orientation to customer service
* Professional phone demeanor
* Ability to work cooperatively with other staff and departments
* Ability to overcome objections
* Experience using the Internet
* Experience with CRM software

Event Marketing Team - Part Time
Do you love attending events? Love meeting people? We are looking for a few great social marketers, and no we don’t mean MySpace/Twitter/Facebook users, though we love you 
We want people who love getting out and meeting new people. This position basically means you attend an event, introduce yourself to attendees and take lots of photos to be added to our website.
Compensation - Free event admission, plus $15 per hour

Videocaster/Podcaster - Part time
As a member of our video and podcasting team you would be creating weekly updates on upcoming events, interviewing business owners, band members, and event promoters to get the inside scoop. We are looking for people that not only keep up with Philly events but can also bring a different take - think Soup/Chelsea Lately meets Philadelphia.
